Round Table Discussion “Writing a Research Proposal”

On February 28, 2020, ELC held a Round Table Discussion. The discussion was presented by Septia Dwi Jayanti, M.Pd. titled Writing a Research Proposal. This discussion was aimed to represent the contents of the seminar titled Klinik Penulisan Proposal Penelitian dan Pengabdian Masyarakat in the hall of the Ir. Soekarno building or the Rector’s building by Prof. Dr. H. Mufidah Ch, M.Ag. and Prof. Dr. Irwan Abdullah as the reviewers as well as the presenters. In the discussion in the lecturers’ room, she conveyed techniques and stages of writing a community service proposal and writing a research proposal in the field of social and culture. The writer should do based on the stages which are began from the title, background, problem formulation, objective, relevant previous research, relevant concepts or theories, method and technique, discussion, and references or bibliography. In writing a research proposal, she also stated some points the reviewers see from the proposal, such as new terms, article novelty, references using Zotero or Mendeley, and reputable materials used. Finally, at the end of the discussion, she encouraged the participants to make teams to collaborate in writing proposals for coming events. (BPK)
